volunteer. buy. thrive.
Habitat’s common sense approach works. Lifting a family out of poverty and setting them on a course for success doesn’t happen overnight, but it can be done with your help. Your unrestricted support gives Habitat Lehigh Valley the ability to use funds when and where they are most needed, and where they can be leveraged for strongest impact. Your unrestricted dollars keep our mission moving by funding such expenses as:
SHARED SERVICES that sustain the key programmatic work of our affiliate including volunteer management, construction supervision, accounting technology ,general staffing, facilities and overall management of the organization.
FAMILY SUPPORT through staff interactions and family mentoring is a key aspect of our work in the Lehigh Valley. Providing guidance, support and understanding to our families as they move toward homeownership is critical to success.
Please remember to support us during the year with your generous donations as well as through United Way and company matching programs. If your company particpates in the United Way campaign, please write-in “Habitat Lehigh Valley”.
Contributions to the Annual Fund make up a significant portion of the funding for Habitat LV. In 2016 these funds equated to 15% of the overall budget. Your support of the Annual fund will ensure that you get newsletters and updates on our progress.

The Habitat mission works to draw together the local community in a large scale collaborative partnership, renewing neighborhoods while providing affordable, stable home environments so that disadvantaged children can have a safe place to live, learn, and grow into all that they can be. There are simple and direct forms of charitable giving such as major gifts of cash or stock, individual sponsorships, corporate matching gifts and donations of real estate. Holly Edinger, Executive Director, is available at 610-776-7737 or by email to help you facilitate these types of gifts.
